We are blessed to be able to offer two robust and market sound minors: Art & Theatre. Paired with any SLU major, these minors teach marketable transferable skills preparing students to think creatively, self-express, and capture the world through art and theatre. Saint Leo is not only an educational partner with the world-class Straz Performing Arts Center in Tampa, providing students innovative internship opportunities, but also continues to build partnerships with entertainment powerhouses like Disney, many of whom offer paid internships to students, preparing them for the workforce and the expectations they will confront in the field of performing arts.

Our long-term goal is to transform our minors into interdisciplinary programs that support a cultural experience that reflects the quality of Saint Leo's thriving student body. We must create funding to not only support and attract full-time faculty, but also to enrich our programs with the necessary lighting and sound systems, technical equipment, along with enhanced studios that include updated wheels and kilns for ceramics, expanded dark room possibilities for photography and adjustable shades to control light in our main painting and drawing studio.
